Lorraine Lowry
Community Director
Lorraine grew up in Hamilton and now lives on the mountain with her husband, three cats, and son.
She had her first child in 2019, just before the pandemic hit. She had severe PPD and had to navigate early motherhood alone, with no support from other new mothers.
A brief return to work after maternity leave reminded her she needed a change and wanted to balance work and family life.
That’s when Common Moms knocked on her door.
Her mission as your Community Director is to connect with local mothers by providing safe spaces for honest dialogue.
"Parenting is the easiest thing in the world to have an opinion about, but the hardest thing in the world to do." —Matt Walsh
Sasha Walsh
Creative
Director
Sasha is an accessible yoga instructor who specializes in working with special needs children and their families.
Sasha was born with a rare genetic disorder, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome – Hypermobility subtype (hEDS). This is a connective tissue disorder which causes all joints to be extra mobile and dislocate easily.
Her two children have unique needs as well, which has encouraged her to learn, design, and adapt many programmes for a wide range of people and their families.
Sasha has successfully run her own small enterprises, including Jai Yoga with Sasha Walsh, and her most recent hobby, Stitched Stims.
She is excited to create an engaging and entertaining experience for the entire family to enjoy while making lasting memories.
